Hey everyone! I know I haven’t been very active recently, but I’m going to start trying to be a bit more active. It’s probably not a great excuse but I’ve not been doing the best mentally recently. I also know it probably doesn’t sound like much, but I’m going to try to post at least once a month.

          Also, I’m going to have some weird update schedules, aka no update schedule at all, and I’m going to continue my Harry Potter fan fiction once I get a lot more done, or possible even finish.

Hey everyone!
          Is it late right now? Maybe, but not by my standards ‍♀️ 
          
          Anyways, I need help. My parents have basically forgotten that I changed my name, and keep calling my by my dead-name. How do I “gently” tell them that I don’t want them to call me by it?!?! 
          I guess it doesn’t help that I’m thinking about switching to my pronouns to she/they (I mean it’s not like anyone would use they/them except my friends ) and the fact that I haven’t come out in school cause I want to just switch schools next year. Even coming out next year would be easier since then I would still be new to most of the kids because of the pandemic.
          So yeah. That’s my life. I hope I didn’t rant/ramble or whatever too much. 
          Let me know how y’all are and how to f*cking (I’m not sure if I’m allowed to swear on these) remind my parents that I’m not using my deadname anymore.

          Okay I’m stalling at this point

Hey everyone! Your support for Starling has been motivational exciting to see. Don’t expect much of me— it’s my first novel. 
          
          Now..... everything that I messed up/random details/things I finally decided/you get the point:
          
          1. Isle, the main character’s name will be changed to Nix. Her name was only mostly just in the summary, so this shouldn’t change much. Also, Isle might be used as a name for a background character 
          
          2. This will take place during Harry’s 2nd year of Hogwarts. This means Nix will be in the same year as Luna. Don’t Harry and Nix to be communicating much, as this is a story about Nix, not Harry.
          
          3. The story will be switched to 3rd person. I just decided this, I’m not sure why. I feel like I’m rewriting everything now.
          
          4. Her appearance will be normal (still working out the details) except I’m keeping the black tattoo 
          
          5. I’m changing the summary a lot but that was kind of said with all of the other changes
          
          6. Idk there’s probably a lot more
          
          Soooo.... that’s about it. I will try to have the changes published by the end of today. Sorry about all these changes!
