@anazitis Don't apologize, it's quite alright! That's what I'm here for: to answer any and all questions you may have, both about the contest and about Wattpad in general! The payments are yes follow me and also @sugararmy07 since she is the co-host! As for the categories, best picture just closed, but we also just received two new openings. One in best visual effects, which judges your writing style, and one in best actress, which judges your female lead. For the category you'd like to apply for, what do you feel most comfortable with in your book? Do you feel most confident with your cover? Your writing style? Your female lead (if applicable)? Whichever one you feel most comfortable with, I recommend applying for that one! If you tell me which one you are most comfortable with, I can mark you down for that category.

And a general question, how many weeks are left in the weekly writing contest? I don't have the time to participate in week three, but I would like to do one.

All of my fanfics are BTS-related, though there are some crossovers, such as Starfield since it's both a Starfield (the video game) and BTS fanfic, and I also have some original stories, too, and I hope to publish more originals soon! I considered writing fanfics for other things (Arcane, Squid Game, other K-pop groups, etc.), though I feel like since my account is so BTS-oriented, it's best to just do those different kinds of fics on other accounts in the future and keep this one to BTS, contests, and originals only! As for the weekly contest, there will be two more weeks: week 4 and week 5. So there are still two more weeks, with week 4 to be published on the 12th and week 5 to be posted on the 19th with expectations for the contest to be completed by the first week of February!

A few important things.
For starters, I apologize I haven't been around much today. I had a really garbage day, to be perfectly honest, so I just haven't wanted to be online much aside from judging. I'll reply to everything tomorrow since I had a rough day at work, and I don't want to reply to anything while kinda down in the dumps, y'know?
The Fan Vote category for the WHO Awards will be out either tomorrow or Thursday, a bit sooner than I expected. I'm just about done with it.
Another thing is Hell's Angels will be released within the next two weeks. I'm eyeing January 20th since that's right before my spring semester starts, but we'll see, I might have it out earlier. I actually already finished chapters 1 and 2, but I want to pre-write more than that so I have multiple updates a week ready even when I get busy. Yes, I want to update it multiple times a week, so I hope that's exciting news.
I'm hoping to have the Normal? category for the Candlelight Awards out shortly after the Short Stories category so we can get three results out in the course of one month. I'd really, really like that, and I'm sure you guys would, too.
Honestly, I'm just kinda burnt out. I've been working really hard and trying my best to get these results and new chapters out. Publishing 5+ updates in a week has been taking a big toll on me, but I think it'll get better once this winter class I'm taking is over with since it requires 35 hours a week, on top of my 40 hours a week job.
Forgive that little rant there. I don't make them often, but just a tiring time of year. I feel like I say that every month though, lol.
In happier news, January 7th, today for my time zone, is my irl best friend's birthday and also my four year Wattpad anniversary! Happy anniversary to me! I've actually been on here since 2016, but this is Ravendipity's anniversary.
