Hi Raven, thank you for your honest and detailed review of my book. I don't know how to thank you properly... Thank you for noticing all the tiny details in the story; it made me very happy and grateful. I appreciate all the feedback you gave regarding grammatical errors, transitions, and condensing the first chapter. English is not my first language, and I will do my best to fix those mistakes. I don't get many reads, which worries me sometimes. I keep wondering if I’m not doing a good job with my storytelling or if I’m not a good enough writer to start with. It’s hard for me to write anything new. This review—how should I put it without sounding too cringe... I don't know..it really helped me gain some confidence in my writing. I’m glad to hear that you understood my characters well... I must be doing something right, right? Thank you again for taking the time to write such a detailed review. Both overhauls of my past contests have been posted as promised (the Forever Gold K-pop Awards and Candlelight Awards). If you are a K-pop writer, I hope you'll stop by the FG Awards! Candlelight is open for both fanfics and originals.
I want to emphasize that these are overhauls of past awards, so while they are open to everyone, they are not technically "new" contests. I am finishing old contests. Please do not get these confused with wholly new awards I am randomly posting; these overhauls have been planned and announced for over a year now.
Speaking of, now that I am off hiatus, I will be fully resuming judging of all contests, including the WHO Awards and Oscars.
Big news for WHO Awards participants: a double feature is coming soon. I will be posting results for R&B AND the K-pop category at the same time, same with their introductions. Both categories are just about completed! It's the first double feature I've ever done for the WHO Awards! Just, uh, please be patient because that's 21 introductions to write... yeaaah, that's a lot of intros. I hope to do the same for the Oscars and get them completed ASAP.
For March Madness participants, good news as well: I plan to finish the contest very soon, so that'll be another contest finished in 2026 on top of the two I already finished! Yay! In case you haven't seen, the contest is halfway completed in just one month after judging began, so you can anticipate it finishing very soon!
I hope to get back into my standard creative update schedule soon, too, but know that My Demon and Couples' Therapy are still receiving their weekly updates as scheduled, I just need to hop back on the other BTS stories to get them going on a daily basis, too.
