HSR Amphoreus arc is genuinely top three in the whole Hoyoverse game just below Thus spoke Apocalypse (HI3. My T1) and Elysian Realm (HI3 T2).
It beats Kiana's Everlasting flame comfortably. Amphoreus was genuinely only being let down by its bad pacing and bloated dialogues (which I didn't mind when my entire fanfics I've written are bloated just to pass word count. I shouldn't have done that)
Every character holds up on their own, bouncing off each other very, VERY well. But Phainon and Lygus were definitely the star of the show, leaving Cyrene at top 3 position in terms of cast.
Lygus - "Thus Speaks Genius Society #1, Zandar One Kuwabara."
(A GREAT parallel to the book, 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra` by Friedrich Nietzsche. It fits well with his theme, the Übermensch, The Death of God, the will to power, and eternal recurrence.)
