Can somebody tell me why when a book isn't as popular and doesn't get much engagement the writers they finish those books no matter what they make sure to update and not taking months to do so either but when a book is popular and starts getting all this attention the chapters stop coming as frequently then they stop maybe 3 weeks or 2 months without an update then come back a short chapter the engagement isn't the same now the book is just unfinished I can always tell now the future of a book when it gets popular just expect that book or series to not be finished prepare yourself I'm telling you I have seen it happen in real time it's a thing the lower engagement writers do better than the ones who have all this attention.
@Ray__Diggz93 In my case, I'm making it up as I go and since I seem to be a lot older than other authors on this site, my life gets in the way a lot now. I had a LOT of time during the covid years when I was churning out like two or three chapters a week plus a new book. But then it all became too much because I had to keep all those stories going at once. Still having problems now, but I'm trying. I know how you feel though. I hate it, but it seems I can't help but to do it myself.

@RhonnieGirl04 people in general on here and in the world the ignorance of us as a whole is getting worse the entitlement is unbelievably high especially in the black community the lack of accountability for everyone and nobody wanting to listen ignorance and stupidity always went hand in hand and was always there even back then but I feel like it's gotten a whole lot worse I'm just over people in general
