My name is Rae. I'm an aspiring novelist/lawyer. I also hope to perform in a Broadway musical just once, but judging by my lack of talent in singing AND dancing, that one is just a little far fetched.

My favorite genre to read is a good horror or thriller, but I also like fantasy a lot. I'm not fond of sci-fi or nonfiction.
My favorite book is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, followed by Alice Through the Looking Class. I also enjoy reading manga and newspaper strip comics, aka, "the funnies". (My favorites being "Black Butler", "Foxtrot" and "Calvin and Hobbes".)

My number one pet peeve is when someone treats an author as "the best" or "the worst". Everyone is a good author if even one person enjoys their work. That's all that writing is, really - churning out a work that makes at least one person happy.

I love to read as much as I do to write, and lately have been taking on many writing challenges in hopes of getting some good starts on the novels floating around in my head. I've been writing since I was old enough to, but my stories from then are embarrassing. ("He killed Bob so the Bob wouldn't get hurt skydiving" - quote from one of my short story/murder mystery attempts.)
