I'm more horrified of the fact that my neighbors thought that we'd(family) leave our baby kitten to be eaten by their dogs after the kitten died than the fact that their dogs mauled our baby.
          	
          	Like, bish, no. We're taking what's left of our baby and bury him in our backyard than let your dogs eat the corpse.
          	
          	I'm *cough* totally not bitter about the fact that you heard your dogs drag off our kitten from within our gated area to your open area of a house and only watched the kitten try to fight back.
          	
          	My mother had to retrieve the body and had to scare the dogs that were actually trying to attack her.
          	
          	Unfortunately, I was sitting on the toilet as this happened. My sibling was sleeping and mom tended to the plants while our two cats(adult cat and the kitten) walked around in the garden/garage area.
          	
          	(My sibling and mom drove to the clinic but our baby died on the way. Our other baby(Adult Cat) is still crying for him for a while now.)

I'd like to add this bit- The kitten was still breathing when my mom got to him and rushed him to he clinic even when we knew that the state of the kitten was hopeless.
          	  
          	  The neighbor also asked why we were going to take him away from the dogs.
          	  
          	  This made me want to ask them that would you leave your loved one with its killer than with its family?
