Well shit the bed! Been a hot damn second since I've posted smh! Last time I did The Prey in the Night had over 5,000 readers in 2021, now in 2024 it has 27.7K readers! I'm shook! Gooped! Gagged! I could have NEVER imagined that something I had written would have that many readers...like...ever. It's something I'm extremely proud of,  one of the few things! To have put the dedication, time, hard work, and love into something that now 27.7K readers got to enjoy as well is just - I have no words other than THANK YOU & I LOVE YOU ALL!!
          	
          	I'm also dreadfully sorry that I haven't updated The Prey in the Wind since 2021! Life is life and unfortunately, I'm on the bad side of things. Life has been chaotic, stressful, discouraging, and disheartening. My mental health has seen depths I wish to never encounter again. But I won't be a downer w/ all the details, so let's move on yeah?! Anyway, due to another bout of bad luck and life's bullshit, I have found a little more spare time. That being said, I'm trying to get back into the mood to continue The Prey in the Wind - your girl is just having some majorly bad writer's block w/ this story. I'm doing what I can to pick it back up and continue for not only myself but for all of you as well. Fingers crossed I can find the motivation to pick it back up! 
          	
          	I've also been working on a handful of other fanfic projects one is at 52040 words and the other is at 35030 words - both of which have been YEARS in the making w/ help from my bestest friend. It's difficult to write when your beta reader is also an adult w/ a life of her own (lol!). I mean, if anyone else wants to help...the offer is out there  That being said, this has been a small little catch-up on my end.

Holy hell! 5,000+ readers?!?! I'm absolutely mind blown and seriously couldn't be happier! This is the most readers I've EVER had on anything I've posted anywhere else. I-I just can't believe this right now. I never thought that this would be possible! Excuse me while I go geek out for a little bit!

@SquirtleSquadMaster I'm so pumped!!! I have to stop myself from looking at the calendar, so I don't get irritated with how slow the days are haha. Nahhhhh you got some of the best ideas, I just run with them lol. Typing really isn't the hard work, it's getting the ideas from your mind to the keyboard that's the hard work.
