@RayzLife i honestly did not think about it that way but as seen in the anime if the opponent  has a considerable amount of strength he would have to use more than one punch like he did when he was fighting  the alien that was trying to take over but then again i agree goku does need some kind of motivation to get to his full potential so i do believe that saitama would win

@alphaturd27 I did some research and found out this:
            
            The mere comparison of strength between the two characters is crazy. Goku is an extraterrestrial being who has to lose a fight in order to get stronger. Saitama is a man that can defeat any foe with a single punch. If the two of them were to face off in a one-on-one battle, Saitama would easily win.
