Hello! This is Raven, here on behalf of the March Madness contest.
          
          With the awards nearing its conclusion, I've begun focusing on prize distribution. You won:
          - Runner-up in the Best Poem category with A Gardener of Guarded Agony (from INKSPIRATION)
          
          There are plenty of prizes, but the one I am reaching out about is the interview! The runner-up position gets a mini interview, around 3-5 core questions + one wrap-up question.
          
          Before I begin work on the interview, though, I wanted to reach out, ask consent, and give some details.
          The interview would be done asynchronously via Google Docs, so no need for any private communication or going off-platform. It would also be posted publicly afterwards in my interview book.
          
          Would you like to be interviewed, and are you okay with them being posted publicly?
          If so, I'll give you a few more details about the process and start making the questions.
          If not, no worries! I completely understand! You'll still receive all the other prizes.

Lol, okay, so I just remembered this: Back in 2023, it was announced that Imagine Dragons was going to perform in South Africa for the first time and I'd been so excited (I knew I wasn't going to be able to see them, though) that I shared the news with my mom—"Imagine Dragons is coming to Cape Town!"—but she didn't know it was the name of a band and thought I'd said, "Imagine (if) dragons went to Cape Town!?" so her response went something like, "Oh, that would be cool." This memory still makes me laugh!

I feel SO stupid... So I've been doing fairytale/mythology-related research for one of my fantasy series (feels like I'm slowly getting back into the flowwww!?) and tonight, I decided to look up who the Evil Queen married. The results show that it was some unnamed king—except it wasn't just any guy: "Queen Grimhilde's husband is SNOW WHITE'S father". And I was like, "Wait—WHAT?" 
          
          How is it that I only now realized that the Evil Queen was Snow White's stepmother. Like, for some reason, I always thought Snow White was this random beautiful village girl and one day Grimhilde found out about her through her Magic Mirror (we all know the story), but I didn't know they were "related". And this detail, of course, makes the queen all the more evil... wanting her own stepdaughter dead. 
          
          Anywayyy, back to my research and plotting.

I'm posting this because I don't know where else to vent...
          
          One of the reasons I never talk about my emotions is because they get misunderstood or perceived as overly dramatic. Today, I told my mom that I couldn't explain my side of the story because she wouldn't understand, so she challenged me and said to try. I did. It blew up in my face. This is why I just keep everything inside. 
          
          Apparently, the only emotion I'm allowed to feel is happiness. If I don't smile or dance or sing, I'm at fault. ARGGG.
          
          My reputation is a prison.

          I'm 20 now, which is just a euphemism for old. Nah, I'm kidding; I know I'm still young, but it feels like time is sprinting so far ahead of me and I'm still trying to savour it. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to the future because I know God's got everything figured out.
          
          Note to self: Do NOT eat a chocolate-glazed donut filled with cream and caramel at midnight (it was delicious, but the diarrhea literally knocked the shiz out of me).
          
          Also, everyone's signal here is really bad, so I'ma be AFK. Love you all.
