I'm here to read and offer advice and editing.  I am not a professional, merely good at what I do.

At the risk of sounding like a complete spasm, I am going to share a little-known fact about myself:

Since I was in middle school, I've corrected grammar and spelling and punctuation on anything and everything I read.  I almost never do so out loud or publicly.  It's nearly always just in my own head.

I admit, I've had my grammar Nazi moments, but compared to the whole, they are negligent.  It's a compulsion, much like my life-long need to sing and write.
