I understand and completely agree to what you’re saying, though end of the day, I have realised that if any content is including suspense, drama or mystery or not shouldn’t matter much as most important should be that is the story relatable to readers or not, the content should have an authenticity or a personal touch in it. Usually, we end up writing in a way to attract huge number of views and thats why we probably include multiple aspects in a story, but a simple plot with certain times, no drama has also a beautiful taste in its own. Even in my stories, there is a mix of drama, angst and different emotions of betrayal, love, hurt, but then I feel that certain times a simple story, genuinely leaves a soft and impactful impression.
