2020 is coming to an end; so much has happened and yet, it feels overwhelming and uneventful all the same.
Stuck within the confines of my house, I had lost track of time. Every single day and night merged into one whole memory; of repeating routines and settling into complacent monotony.
Procrastination, toxic headspace, unhealthy complacency, etc- all contributed to fastening the ropes around my truly active spirit.
All ambitious pursuits and goals floating among the clouds, not out of sight but not reachable either; just another dream without a plan.
I had forgotten who I am.
However, the year is not over and I have much to do and much to be and so, I'm picking up from where I left, 5 months ago. The backlog is humongous but I have a plan and I have a healthy mindset this time.
To all of you, who are going through what I had gone through- fight back. Fight against the need-like want to stay within your comfort zone. Keep yourself happy, healthy, stable and thriving. Pay attention to your soul, mind, heart and body.
Reach out to yourself and shower yourself with love. Re-connect with loved ones, with forgotten hobbies and passions.
If you need help and can't find assistance from anyone and feel lost and lonely, do your research and set up a system that helps you and depends solely on you. I found it through books, music, lifestyle apps and finding solace in a habit as simple as only breathing for a while and opening my eyes to everything physically present around me.
