so like can we discuss Ms Marvel real quick- (will be spoilers for many marvel media, including ms marvel)
          A lot of people are hating on ms marvel rn, including some of my relatives!
          So, what other people say:

          ARGUMENT: VERY VERY NEEDED, TYVM. Okay, so as a Muslim, pakistani sometimes female (I'm genderfluid + I was born female) we need this. I grew up in America, seeing people who looked like my uncles and grandparents as the bad guys. I saw people who looked like me and my mom as victims. Hell, in iron man 3, some people that look like some of my more religious aunties were HUMAN BOMBS. So, Ms Marvel, a girl just like me, from my country, that looks like my cousin, was needed. It showed me, and all the kids I know, that we aren't doomed to be bad guys or victims. Representation is important, for EVERY RACE AND CULTURE.

          Argument: Bitch most of the reviewers are white adults.. it's not made for you., it's not supposed to be relatable to YOU. IS IRON MAN, A BILLIONAIRE, RELATABLE?? Is a fucking super soldier that was literally made from some sciency drugs relatable??

          No bc Peter is white, has no obvious religion, has no siblings or parents, doesn't have CULTURE nd is smart. HONESTLY BRUNO IS PETER, NOT KAMALA ISTG.
          
          My Pakistani Relatives argument:
          
          -she doesn't act desi
          
          ARGUMENT: excuse you bitch I am a desi kid around her age,, yeah that's what we act like, yeah that's what we wear, yeah we fucking read fanfics I'm on WATTPAD RN.
          
          -her mom is villainized
          
          Argument: it's from her point of view, and they do make up. As a kid, not even a desi kid, every single kid does this. 
          
          -she doesn't speak Urdu much
          
          Argument: 1) this is a show in America, it will have viewers that don't know Urdu and they aren't gonna google translate everything. 2) she's an ABCD (American born confused desi) like me, we barely know Urdu.
