I just realized in "We Are The Crystal Gems" when Pearl says "we will protect your earth" it's because she still sees Steven as Rose and thus sees Rose as Pink Diamond making her say "your Earth" every time because technically Steven still owns the Earth in interstellar government terms because he is literally his mother (bc he has her gem, ergo he has the rights and title his mother) but also his own person and so he is Pink Diamond but also he is Steven and I'm having a stroke reading and writing this
