Does the update still show everyone if you turn off Notify Followers? Or have people tried that?

Is it too much to ask for a fic in which Cas is about 20, living with Gabe, and 15 year old Dean is their neighbour? He always drops by to see Cas - just doing random friend stuff because Cas didn't think it's weird so it's fine - and has a huge crush on him. Cas doesn't like him back because Dean is literally a kid but he's too nice to say "I don't want to be with you" so he just sorta pretends he doesn't know. When he's 16, Dean is moving away and he tries to kiss Cas so Cas kisses him on the cheek/hand/whatever and hugs him. Years later, 19 year old Dean finds Cas and flirts mercilessly. Cas doesn't recognise him at first (because of age, dye and scars (Let's face it, Dean dyed his hair pink for a prank)) so he doesn't feel guilty in being very attracted to him. They're friends for a while but Cas still doesn't know and Dean doesn't know that he doesn't know. The pair end up kissing, then Dean is just like "better than the other kiss" so Cas finally realises. Angst of ohmyheavenlyfatherikissedtheneighbourkidicannotdothat ensues until Dean makes him look past it then they get together.
          
          Is that too much to ask?
