Red-Drop

Sitting at the base of a tree, legs spread and her knees lifted from the ground, with her elbows resting inwards upon them, Red sat, back rounded as her body slouched forward, her face looking down at the ground, shadowed by her long thick blonde hair.
A smile seemed to be growing on her face. No longer her usual, happy smile, but rather a disturbed seeming smile, Red's entire demeanor seemed to be changing, and not for the better. Her once vibrant, pinky red eyes were slowly turning into a deep red wine color, and light bags seemed to now form under her eyes. She now 'breathed' with an easily audible sound at close ranges, and her skin had begun to grow colder. A twitch would every once in a while find its way under her left eye.
It had been a long time sinse anyone had associated themselves with this woman, and it was clear that things were slowly growing too much for her to bare. She disliked silence. Silence always seemed to bother her the most, and yet, silence is what had been surrounding her for months now. Pure silence. Not even the forest any longer provided her with enough sound to keep her calm and collected demeanor any longer.

The complete silence of the forest would slowly be broken by the deep sound of Red's now broken laugh that slowly began to rise from her throat. Despute its deep tone, it would slowly begin to get louder, accompanied by a loud ringing sound that only she could hear, a ringing in her ears that bothered her all the more.
If she hadn't already lost it yet, then she was on the brink, and her ever growing blood lust seemed to push her farther over the edge, now teetering in between knowing who she was, or losing herself. It would only be a few more days before she forgot the difference between right and wrong, at best.

@WalkingSin (red is in an entirely different area right now, so I'll add the reply to this on that board, since shes sleeping in a hotel room.)

@Red-Drop [XD It isn't nearly as bad on my phone.]
He gave a nod to her thanks, replying "If you don't make calls, I'll probably inevitably call you. You now have a reason."

Mercer then hummed in thoughtfulness. "Assuming you haven't heard of it, I should probably come closer and explain."

Crouching down once again, he eyed her branch. He asked, "An overview is probably enough to get you going," he said. Then with another leap he would travel through the air and land on the same branch, sinking his knees down, and quickly coming to a form of sitting position next to her.

"If we move at a swift pace with few stops, we should arrive just before the sun sets on the mountain range," he said, pulling out his own cell phone and flicking it open with his thumb. "If we do need to rest or are hindered in our travel however, we can make our way to an inn, or arrive late to the city of Ashburn, taking our chances on when the bandits actually will strike."

With a few keystrokes he would then pull up a map highlighting their direction, destination, and possible efficient routes. With a few keystrokes more, he would then send the map to her phone, signaling a ring and vibration. They would need to follow along to make their way to @Ash-Land . [Moving there now. :P]

Red watched as he jumped from the tree and began to walk slowly, waiting for her to catch up. Without much hesitation, she followed after, jumping down from the tree with a light thump when she hit the ground, and would stand straight. a few moments later she would take a quick couple of steps to catch up with him, before beginning to walk at Mercers pace. "how long do you expect the walk there to be?"

Mercer gave another small smile before glancing down towards the earth below, and pushing off of his hands to descend towards it. "Time to depart then," he said as he dropped, allowing his knees to bend and his hands to absorb some of the force on landing. Almost reflexively he would then stand back up, stepping off with a slow enough pace that it would be easily implied that he wanted her to follow beside him.

Strolling along, making his way into the area was fiery-red haired male of 5'11", with a slightly lankly build under a black jacket. His steps were decisive up to a point, him being sure that he knew he wanted to be here, but not entirely sure of exactly 'where' inside of 'here'. He had come across this place by incident before, but now he purposely sought for the inhabitant. His face remained stern-looking as always as he would let his eyes flicker, and twitch his ears to listen to the surroundings.

@-Tanmin- (xD fading out of the text box? )

Red would raise an eyebrow as she looked at the cell phone, a little surprised by the fact that he had just given her one. She would smile lightly before chuckling and saying "I haven't used a Cell in years... Never had an actual need for one, really."

She would indeed open the phone up, and just quickly go through it, looking at the basic settings and goimg through to the contacts. seeing his name in there made her smile a little. She then looked at him, saying "thanks" with a pleasant smile to offer up. "But.... what exactly to you mean by 'mana'" she said in a somewhat confused tone. That was a term she hadn't exactly come across, yet, that wasn't too surprising, seeing how isolated she usually was from most people.

@Red-Drop [XD I actually read too fast through the first time to even catch it. Also, this fading out of the text box while typing the message is NOT optimal for my eyes in a lit room...Had to focus for a moment after typing up the first sentence there.]

Upon closer inspection she would probably be able to recognize it as a sturdy, but not bulky looking mobile cell phone device with the logo spelling out "Magitech". It was a folding model, not at all a hyper-futuristic machine for technologists, but it would easily fit most typical purposes.

"Aside from checking up, I didn't have a reason to come see you until a short time ago. Also, I'm sure now you need a phone." This was actually quite a bit of talkativeness coming from him, compared to usual, but he would appear to be relaxed with it. "It charges by allowing your mana to flow into it. I don't remember you ever using much magic at all, but that much I could probably teach you within minutes."

Were she to open the phone, she would probably see that it booted up to a simple operating system named "Android 'Magical' v5", and that he would already be in the contact list. The keys would be of a shade of blue, although the back-light beneath them could be customized to different colors were she to play with it long enough.

"Aww, but wheres the fun in that!" Red chuckled. She may be a lot more friendly now, however, that didn't mean she didn't enjoy the hunt. Even then, if she lost her own blood, she would have to replace it with something. And with her history, she wouldn't be surprised if that was to happen soon.

Red shook her head at his extreme exageration. "There is only around five and a half quarts of blood in the human/humanoids body." she explained calmly, liking her lips off of his excess blood. "Like i said. you're more likely off to die from a vampures venom versus a vampires blood. However months and months back i had met one whos blood was so toxic that it was rare that anyone would be changed by him. five percent, kind of rare. I would direct you to him however i cannot even remember his name."
She knew now though that his best bet to die biw would be to chain himself down and starve himself.

Red laughed both deeply, yet in a now amused, but light hearted manner. The difference between her now and from before she fed off of him were drastically different. It was clear just how long she had been starved for by simply observing this. Her cheeks were more filled out. Her eyes were lighter and carried no harmful intention. She almost looked human. That is except for the blood that stained her lips and dripped a single line down her chin.

"I gave you exactly what you asked for. However you asked likely for the wrong fluid. I am not a venomous vampire." She began to explain even though not asked for it. "I am more closely related to a certian and well known 'original'. The one who happened to have made me this way, actually."

Red finally felt strong again. She now felt truly able to fight and to attack as her strength returned to her, able to hunt. She knew she would need to find her cabin that she lost in this forest, in which would give her a place to stock up on water bottles full of blood should she find an abundant hunting ground once again.

However she continued to look at the swordsman who now looked lile he was seizing. She heard sounds, and she listened, however all she would hear was jibberish. She had never seen someone react this way to being drained and gived in return her own blood. It was intriguing to her, to say the least.
