lol I had a response for this already… no harm answering again I suppose. In the general aspect of things, that’s exactly why, but it’s also due to them wanting to do things differently, wanting Spidey with different characters, wanting to pull a “what if Spidey didn’t act this way” trope. In most cases I understand ‘em, but I started writing mine because, for the amount that’s been written, there were far and few that really captured the essence of Spidey, most having a good concept of their story but the pacing was a problem, writing style, doing too much at once etc., in other cases it was character assassinations which clearly showed that the writer didn’t love Spidey, nor understand what made him who he was which in turn led to those stories being short lived or didn’t resonate. I wrote mine simply because of the fanfics that disrespected the core aspects of Spidey and wrote it because of the ones that’s pacing didn’t… drive home to what the story could’ve been. Just my opinion though regarding ‘em. At the end of the day, they all have different perspectives of Spidey and why they fell in love with the character in the first place so…

@RedHawkAce I like Spidey as much as the next dude I gave it a once over it's not bad but I think Embers of the symbol is the bread and butter of your stories imo anyway I feel like Endeavor's redemption could go differently with Izuku possessing Fire Powers Endavor cements himself as a pillar like he does after the high end fight but I feel like he could use Izuku's example to make his combat style more refined like he's replaying Midoriya's fights from both the sports festival and surveillance footage, what little there is, to figure out what his own flames mean and slowly come to the realization that fire isn't just destruction...but life

Understand that in situations where traumatic moments are brought up or new information concerning old things you were supposed to be aware of but weren’t is and of itself a lot to take it. All-Might didn’t even process All For One’s words when Miruko and All For One were clashing. Hope that helps :)

@TheRichtofen115 I was tempted to have Izuku get involved until I realized that this chapyer is for the past’s fight. This wasn’t Izuku’s fight, not yet. And realistically speaking, he would’ve been expelled from doing something so extreme that he was already warned about previously, despite his intention. Don’t forget the world that he’s in is full of consequences, and every action has a reaction. So I went with Miruko. And if you’re referring to All-Might knowing about Shigaraki, I’m sorry, but he didn’t, as far as being a Symbol of Peace goes, he won’t know everything that goes on, even canon wise it was that way, rather not mess with something that would undermine his character, because if he knew and tried to play it off to save face, it undermines the honesty of his character. As for Izuku vs Bakugō? Oh I’ve been itching to reach that, but it’ll come eventually… first is the dorm section :)

@RedHawkAce at first I was upset izuku didn't do anything but at the same time I let it go over time but fucking shit AFO's an asshole silver lining? All might already knew so he wouldn't be phased by it for one so he'll play it off that AFO was lying through his teeth to save face but that won't work for some people for two I can't wait to see Izuku crash out at Bakugo after the license exam

@WolfTrike13 oh. It’s like a span of a storyline. Like the first arc of the Spider-Man story I’ve been doing is Spider-Man vs Avengers. Then the second arc is “The Missing Devil,” then the third is… yeahhhh I’m not spoiling haha. Arcs identify the theme and what’s occurring in the given story, and sometimes which characters are involved :) hope this helps
