Super book nerd, historical and gothic fiction is where I live. I am also a massive YA and fantasy fan. I've indie published four books including one middle grade and a YA contemporary fantasy trilogy, and traditionally published two historical fiction novels under my author name. 
The first full story I wrote that got anyone's attention was an argument between a couple breaking up. My English Literature teacher gave it an A+ because he'd accidentally skipped the lunch bell while reading it (thanks Mr. Hudson). I was 12. Since then, I've known I wanted to tell stories that make people accidentally skip the lunch bell, that make you think or feel differently, or teach you something without feeling like you're back at school. 
My grandmother, a fierce Welsh woman, raised me to love stories and history, libraries and all things supernatural, so that tends to scream through all of my writing. 
I'm Mum to two amazing boys, three ridiculous cats and have lived between London and Sussex most of my life.
