A few days ago, October 14th, i got sick, showing 8 signs of covid which we didn't think much about. We guessed that it was just a cold or allergies. my symptoms though are diarrhea, chest pain, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, and head ache. I went to school Monday, October 26th but didn't October 27th. That day, I was watching TV with my little sister when my mom got a call from the school. "Your daughter has been exsposed to someone with covid they have had it since the 21st and I was just now being informed about it. She was exposed by being near this person for atleast no longer than 15 minutes, she will have to stay home until November 5th." my mom told them I was sick and they recommended I get a covid test. Later that night I went to my dads house and told him and my step mom the news, which they forced me to walk around the house with a mask on. My step mom then got worried, so we got in the car and she took me to get a covid test, which is a rapid test. Results come back around 15 minutes later. We get there and I get the covid test done, and its like a pregnancy test. One line means negative, two lines mean positive. They swob my nose then they put the swab inside the thing that tells you whether you have covid or not. 15 minutes pass and we look down and and there was only one line. Even though its negative, I still worry, not all tests are accurate. What if the results came back incorrectly? What if i have covid and every time I cough, I'm giving it to everyone around me? Ill never know...
