B.R. Drasher is an emerging author whose work bridges the emotional depth of literary fiction with the immersive worlds of speculative storytelling. Influenced by Tananarive Due, Octavia Butler, Stephen King, and Toni Morrison, she explores themes of resilience, identity, and inherited pain (with a touch of heart, darkness, and humanity.)
She's been writing since the age of nine, when her notebooks overflowed with fan fiction inspired by Inuyasha, Tenchi Muyo, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
These days, she is releasing a collection of novellas while working on her debut novel (a story she swears will definitely be finished after one more cup of coffee.)
When she's not writing, you'll likely find her curled up with her Kindle, ignoring the world in favor of fictional ones.
She's a wife, mom of three amazing kids, and cat mom extraordinaire who believes a lot of solitude and a strong story can fix almost anything.
