GOOD NEWS TRUE BELIEVERS!!!
          
          Book 8 is DONE and, starting TOMORROW, I will begin posting chapters weekly once more!!!
          
          HOWEVER I HAVE A SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT
          
          During the writing process of Book 8, I brought onboard a wonderful editor named Blake who has been assisting me in remastering the first few books (we're currently about 2/3's through book 3)!!!
          
          These "Editor's Cut" remastered editions will essentially be the "true versions" going forward, as while they still tell the same basic story, they add SO MUCH in the way of extra content and enjoyability.
          
          While the "Writer's Cut" versions of Chrono X Angel will remain here on Wattpad for you all go enjoy, the Remasters will be posted on Ao3 https://archiveofourown.org/works/41422008
          
          I also have plans to release physical editions of the Remastered versions specifically down the road, but that's still many months away and will be its own announcement when that day comes.
          
          Until then, I hope you will enjoy "The Sands of Time" and that it was worth the (very long) wait!!!!!!

Hey everyone!! Wanted to let you know that, effective immediately the title of the series is being changed to "ChronoXAngel".
          This change has been a long time coming, as "War of the Yokai" was always meant to be a placeholder name that sort of just stuck around.
          With where the story is now, and where I am with it, I feel the time is right to make this change. Expect to see updates on all books, and new cover art soon!!
          
          I apologize to anyone who may have gotten attached to the previous name, but I hope you will come to enjoy this new one!!

Hi all, wanted to give you some heads up!
          The remainder of book 7 is on schedule to go up as planned, in fact all the chapters have been preloaded and edited for months now.
          
          However, as much buffer as this has given me, book 8 is still being worked on. I would guess it is around 1/3 of the way done as of writing this. It's going to be a big, BIG volume in terms of content, so I want to make sure I can get as much in this as possible. As such, there may be a brief hiatus on posts once book 7's final chapter is posted on March 30th, to allow me time to finish book 8. Believe me when I say though, that the wait will be 100% worth it.
          
          Thank you for your patience, and thank you for reading "War of the Yokai". Please know I value your readership like you wouldn't believe.

With Book 5 being finally finished, I want to make a brief announcement!!
          
          As I am currently still in the middle of writing Book 7, Book 6's premiere with be delayed two weeks, and will then be shifted to a bi-weekly schedule.
          
          Book 6, "Branching Paths", is actually more of a small collection of three stories with an overarching thread connecting them. I hope you will enjoy it, and thank you for continuing to read "War of the Yokai"!!

Oooooops I seem to have dropped the final chapter of book 4 a little early, what ever shall I do... 

Apologies for the delays!! Wattpad was acting up yesterday, so the chapter couldn't be released. Book 4, chapter 1, is now out and approximately 1.5 times as long to compensate for the delays!!
