Hi, I'm Remi.

I grew up in rural Australia, where spiders outnumbered people, and dust storms were considered normal. Now I live in the center of a capital city, 15 minutes from a waterfall, and I haven't seen a spider in... a week. Life is weird.

This is my first time sharing my writing, so it'll be a learning experience. Any comments/feedback will be appreciated. And if there are any specific chapters you like, let me know, I'd love to know what's connecting.

When writing, I generally start with a question that's very personal to me, and characters who each have a possible answer. I use my characters to explore the question, and the story evolves from what the characters choose and the consequences of those choices. Consequently, my stories tend to be very theme and character driven, and don't always end happy.

For THEY TOOK MY WINGS, my question is: "If you live in a cruel/dark world, where you can't see a way out/through, what can/should you do?" 
Erish, the main character, thinks it's only fair to punish the evil world by being evil in return. So the story will be dark.
