Renee Hammond is an author of contemporary women's fiction, and dark paranormal romance.
Whilst honing her writing skills, Renee volunteered as the chairperson of the Katherine Susannah Prichard Writers' Centre, for three years. In that time she facilitated the youth writing program, and formed the only organised romance writing group in Western Australia. Renee was nominated as a finalist for the citizen of the year, 2014. Currently, she is a member of the Romance Writer's of Australia committee. Her roles include member services and volunteer coordinator, and emerging author ambassador.
Storytelling has always been a part of Renee's life, be it on stage or between the pages, and no other genre has captured her attention as romance.
Life hasn't always been sugar and spice for Renee. After losing the man she thought would be the love of her life to cancer, her stories slipped to a different genre, women's fiction. Developing strong characters and helping them climb from rock bottom became her passion.
Renee lives, on five acres, in the Perth Eastern Hills.
