Update on "Blood and Silver" formerly "Cursed by the Bite":
I'm officially at 37K words written in the new version! Everything is moving somewhat smoothly (well, for me at least. Can't say the same for the characters involved).
Since things have changed in this story plot and character-wise, I'm really hoping readers of the original will fall in love with this version. I've learned that some of my best writing moments is amongst the quiet after the storm within the story, and I'm really trying to bring the psychological aspect of his home, because that's what the original revolved around: man vs. self, man vs. society, and man vs. monster. I want you, the readers, to understand both sides of the story, even if you may not agree with them, so I'm taking my time to weave all the doubts, insecurities, hope, etc. With that being said, I won't leave you without a snippet:

Another win.
Another dead.
Another kill to be added to the ongoing tallies he was keeping track of back in his cell. If he was going to keep killing in the name of the RAM, he’d keep a count of how many lives he’d taken as punishment. It was a form of empathy stained with blood, but that was all that could be found within the Arena.
