Hello, everyone. It has been a long time since I made an announcement and I have not really kept posting my (limited) output here. But still... Some words.

There are a few here that have been sitting around for a while. Still waiting for the words to come back properly, but I will put up with fits and starts for now.
          
          Blackbirds was inspired by walking through a part of Leeds last Autumn I wouldn't ordinarily choose to visit (Seacroft). There were high trees and blackbirds and I was reminded of how I used to love listening to them in the garden when I lived in Essex.
          
          Helmsley 1 and 2 are what happens when you get old and you forget you have already written a poem about a day out with a friend.

A happy New Year to all here. I am glad to see 2018 go. I wish it would take the hurt with it, but, you know, these things are not that easy.
