i continue to write but then i stop to watch the office whats wrong with me-

so heres an opinion (please dont go after me-) but when i read some fanfics its either the character already starts liking the other charater in the first chapter at first sight, or they are already in a realationship, idk about you but i like chapters that take a long time for the characters to start actully feeling something towards the other character, idk it just seems to rip me away from the book when i see the 2 reasons i already stated up there happening, or when stuff goes to quick, heres an example: alice ran through the woods and was caught by the police, shes now in jail"- i mean it goes by to fast with no details really to make it a story , anyone else agree?
