How many of you have heard the inspirational phrase "the sky is the limit?" The quote that says that anything on this Earth that you can think of can be accomplished, and the bar is as high as the sky.
Except, we're selling ourselves short. You see, people have set the bar higher on numerous circumstances. People have been to space, we've put men on the moon, we have rovers on Mars. We have a Space Station. We have proof that the sky is not the limit, and in fact, the bar is much higher. So why do we sell ourselves short?
Often we set the bar even lower, saying that Sci-Fi movies can't happen. We currently can make music with electric shocks, we're creating self-learning AI and self-driving cars, and we are all around experiencing a leap in technology that is bringing life to Science Fiction in a way that nobody had dreamed could come true. That is, until someone thought they'd try. They set the bar higher than we as a society had set it, and they brought the ideas to life.
The sky is not the limit. "Reality" is not the limit. Science Fiction can be brought to life, we can create whatever we can think of with the correct amount of innovation and thought. Stop selling yourself short, and set the bar higher than anyone has before. Then make it real.
