Hello there guys and gals, sorry that I've been on something of a long hiatus for the past few years but I'm finally back to writing and will hopefully be adding another couple of stories to the bounty hunter case files soon. I'm also toying with the idea of writing a few separate short stories in the horror genre but time will tell. I'm a little bit rusty, as you can probably imagine so please forgive any lapses in quality.

is there going to be a second outpost 1873?

RetroRevolver

@DerekAspinwall-Brun There is a complete rewrite planned in the future, I've kept the original to look back on and learn from. The main reason the story stopped was due to some harsh criticism which I received from several writer friends. Unfortunately, I just haven't had time to write with being a single father to three boys, working two jobs and starting a new relationship which has kept me busy! I need to wrap up my doorman's tales first, plus I'm working on a short story collection based around sci fi bounty hunters which I'll begin publishing soon. Strangely enough Outpost 1873 was originally a short story that kind of ran away with me.

@RetroRevolver I understand completely. I was supposed to rewrite my story Z War, which was made two years ago. I got the first two chapters done, then I couldn't bring myself to write any further. Mainly because I just don't write as well in first person. But I'm sure many of us can wait. Take your time, I'd rather have a good book to read that took a long time to write, than a terrible book that was made in a short time. Oh and, your Security Guard stories are hilarious!

@Robby_P_Eplin I'm sorry Robby but your going to have to wait a little bit longer as the rewrite is currently on hold while I work on three other projects, I stopped writing outpost after receiving some harsh criticism off a friend who is also a writer and every time I looked at my own work, all I could see were flaws and began to hate it and doubt myself. A lot of the writing was done there and then without planning or any idea where the story was going but I've come to realise though that this is my first work and sod it, it's pretty good. After I finish two of the books I'm working on and start off a short story collection I intend to throw myself at the rewrite with everything I've got. New characters, new creatures, a proper introduction and a new lead to share the spotlight with O'Shea. All I ask is for people to please be a bit more patient with me.

@RetroRevolver I took a quick glance at your story (which I stumbled upon literally 2 minutes ago), and even though I haven't started reading it yet, it looks pretty awesome. You seem pretty cool too. I don't usually take an interest in sci-fi, but your story looks neat!

I don't really know why I'm writing this, lol. Just wanted to let you know that you'll probably see some feedback from me in the future! Good luck and happy writing!
