My friends and I did a conversational recap of every episode of that wretched show, including a separate post on Lee Minho’s ugly sweaters. I needed to write something sweet to clear my head.
Woo-bin’ character was by far the best, and I’m sorry he didn’t get more lines. As for Young-do, I thought he was the perfect partner for Kim Tam’s mother, and a fun twist.
I have a brief outline of a continuation of the story, but I don’t know if it will ever be written.
I picture Young-do doing a behind-the-scenes takeover of his father’s conglomerate, then creating a beautiful villa where Ki-ae can just putter around in the garden and the kitchen, being a good partner without the pressure of chaebol society. And that would give Young-do the warm home he never had.
And Kim Tam would have to call him “stepfather”.
I started another short story where the female lead meets the real WB, but, sadly it fizzled when my editor pulled out after starting college. He got whacked in the head by a pineapple in my 2nd story. Lol
