Calling all readers! I just dropped a brand new chapter on Wattpad, and it's a big one! This is my first attempt at writing a full-on skirmish scene, and honestly, I'm a little nervous about it!
          This chapter, clocking in at a whopping 3804 words (my longest yet!), sets the stage for some major plot developments. While our MC and FMC aren't directly in the thick of the action this time (trust me, it's for a reason), this event is crucial to the unfolding crisis.
          To fully appreciate the chaos, you might want to quickly revisit Chapter 7 (it's a short one at around 1300 words and provides all the necessary context).
          I would be eternally grateful for any feedback you might have!  Specifically, I'm really keen to know what you thought of the pacing. Did it feel too fast? Too slow?
          This isn't the climax, but it's definitely one of the key turning points I have planned, so I want to get it right!
