          ​I actually got a contract offer from a major novel website in New York! One of their scouts found my work on Wattpad and asked me to write for them. The deal was a monthly paycheck, but the catch was I’d have to drop 2,000+ words every single day.
          
          ​When I told them I was too busy with my current fics, they suggested I just "originalize" The Mafia’s Bunny!!! meaning I’d have to change the names and locations to strip away the fanfic identity and make it a standalone novel.
          
          ​I’ll admit, being noticed felt amazing, but I officially turned them down. ‍♀️ 
          
          That’s a boundary I’m not willing to cross. I might be broke, but I’m not selling out the characters we love! I write because it makes me happy and because I love showing how beautiful and dedicated us Turtles are to the BJYX fandom. ❤️❤️
          ​I’m doing this for the love of the story, not the money. What do you guys think—did I make the right call??
