I guess it wouldn't be too farfetched to say I am rather removed from today's society. For I have this yearning to go back to a time where people dressed with utter refinement and class. Though I do understand the past is the past for a reason. I enjoy telling myself that I was born in the wrong century. 

Hello my name is Mistress Riam Winters. Though Mistress Winters would suffice. If you are reading this, let me be the first to say thank you and welcome to my page.

To those who may have not already guessed, I am a Horror writer. Though, that is the broad term to describe the genre which I consider mine. For I find the best way to describe my work~ is atmospheric horror which blends elements of spirituality and God, unexplained occurrences, large brooding estates (or castles if you will), secrets/mystery, and of course the FORBIDDEN ROMANCE! And though the genre of my work is technically Gothic Horror/Romance. Wattpad doesn't have such a category. 

I have an unmatched passion for writing this Wintersian mix of horror. I love inviting my readers into a world filled with lavishness, wealth and lots of love. And then unveiling this very world into one of lies, neglect and trauma. 

My subject matter can be deemed rather taboo, and may cause triggers to those who have ever had similar experiences to my protagonists. So that is my only warning. 

Other than my writing, I enjoy reading Gothic fiction. I have a thing for flowery language (not to be confused with purple prose, at least not in my view). I love reading about characters who have a similar magical view of life that I share. I love porcelain dolls, Victorian England, Medieval castles, frills and laces as well as exceptionally pretty faces.
