I have no idea. Do I control that or does Wattpad?
Anyway, not a disaster. I you click on view all works it pops its itself into existence.
As I am on most platforms, blindly stabbing in the dark. If I publish enough then possibly some will stop slithering through the net.

Thanks for the follow. I take it from your profile you are a self-published indie. How are sales?

RichardBunning

@sammydrf - Yes- the early birds did well and many are still doing well. Fair enough- that tends to be true in any new trend, the early birds make the money. That's life- at least it was smart marketing and not because they went to the same school as a chief-editor in a traditional publisher- which is basically the way the old industry worked/works. We all at least have a theoretical if diminishing chance of doing really well, but at least we all have a chance. And actually, just the modest success of 'selling' a few hundred books a year is wonderful. We can live the dream, if not the reality, of recognition.

and the problem only worsens. The "early adopters"-the ones who got into the e-book craze at the very beginning- are the ones reaping the benefits. For everyone else, it's a battle to get noticed in the sea of every book ever written and uploaded to the cloud, and every book and story soon to be written.

@sammydrf Sales- terrible. I don't write for the money- I write because I'm egotistical enough to think that I can. It's a full-time hobby- sort of like golf, storm-chasing or fishing. Unbelievable amount of books published every year now that the industry is open to all.
