          I have written non-fiction about Scotland's history and also a factual book about the Loch Ness phenomenon. I have also written a non-fiction dramatised account of my family in the early 20th century.
          
          My completed science fiction includes THE VISITOR about a female astronaut who discovers something unexpected in low-Earth orbit. This is currently with an editor.
          
          The other book is MINDSLIP which deals with the aftereffects of a local supernova.
          
          My science fiction tends to be of the 'hard' SF genre and I have tried to base everything on real science.
