I am not sure who will see this, but if you do, Hi. It's me, the author. I wanted to pop in and say. . . Wow. Happy almost two year anniversary. Writing this out, I am sitting in the same spot I was, with the same computer, as I was two years ago when I posted my VERY first chapter. How crazy is that? It seems like an eternity ago honestly. So I wanted to revisit this page (I couldn't bring myself to access my old account. . . how sensitive haha). But this is one final thanks. One final bang from me. Over 700 thousand reads on a book I wrote on a whim with almost no plan. Just a way for me to get my words on paper. Many people ask me how I write the way I do, so as a final goodbye here is my secret for anyone who sees:
I write how I think. I write things that are so absurd, so insane, so thoughtful while being thoughtless that they are indescribable and nonreplicable. I write the way I think after all. In these unpredictable ways. Many writers are careful, but I remember I was the most careless writer I knew. Nothing had reason, as long as it made sense to me. I still write to this day. I love writing. I love putting these hungry thoughts to words.
And I'm glad some people gave my frivolous way of writing a chance. So thank you for reading. Thank you for watching me grow. Thank you for it all.
