Maki Sakura lives in Tokyo, Japan in a sky high apartment with her brother, mother, and father. She has one cat named Jay and a fish named Sushi. She enjoys writing and drawing  and hopes to get a degree in both when it's time to go to college. Her aunt taught her English at age 8; she is now studying on her own.
