It’s been a while, and I owe you all an apology for the long wait. Nearly a year has passed since I last wrote a chapter of *Broken Promises*, and I want to assure you that I haven’t abandoned it. I just needed some time to reconnect with myself. This story and its characters mean the world to me, and I want to honour their journey and the healing they’re going through.  
          
          While I can’t promise I’ll be as consistent as I’d like, I do promise to give it my all. Please bear with me as I relearn who my characters are, rediscover their voices, and dive back into their world. I will do my best to make their stories worth the wait.
