Whether it be the world or a relationship, what makes it peaceful is more often the lies, rather than the truth. Lies temporarily mend a conflict, put anxiety to sleep. The truth is more uncomfortable than the lie. Most people would rather disregard the truth. Telling the truth is always painful. That's why, people close their eyes in front of the truth.
