(Ace's POV)
          "
          "Our heads turn upon the cabin door opening. I open my mouth seeing L's white hair.
          
          "There he i-"
          
          I freeze mid-sentence, shocked to see not my leader but a happy stranger with a skip in his step. I do a double take looking at his face. It is quite possibly the biggest smile imaginable. A smile I didn't know was possible for him to have.
          
          The words fall out of me without me realizing as I turn to the others.
          
          "Do you guys see this?" 
          "

          "L takes one step into the room, and my mouth parts watching the mask fall off completely. The sorrow, the remorse, the anger in his gaze stuns me. A small sound leaves him, somewhere between a grunt and a stifled moan. 
          
          He turns away from me, visibly in agony at the sight of me."

Question for readers in general
          
          For bigger emotional or climatic chapters do you prefer longer chapters or keeping it around the normal sized chapter? 
          
          Honest thoughts appreciated!
          
          I have a hard time splitting up emotional sections LOL need some input

(Raven's POV) 
          "You do know!" I whisper sharply, "You acted like you didn't know me or my parents! How could you lie to me? How do you know all of this?"
          
          She draws in a small, shaky breath, pain and apology weighing her face down.
          
          "I'm sorry-"
          
          "For what!" I exclaim, anger crawling out of my chest, "For fearing I will join Phantom?"
          
          
          (L's POV)
          
          I gulp down more vodka. The cold liquid burns my throat, and my head swirls harder. I lower the bottle from my lips, watching the black shelves of liquor spiral around me.
          
          Raven's pale body reappears. The blood along her neck, the cut on her mouth, the syringe.
          
          Rage blinds me, hot and uncontainable. An animal-like scream tears through me as I smash the bottle on the bar counter, sending glass and liquid flying.
