There was a book I read on here a while ago and after I finished it, I didn't put it in my archive so I could read it later. Lately, I've really been wanting to read it but I can't find it and I'd be so grateful if you guys could help me find this book.
I roughly remember that it was about this man, I think his name was Xander or Xavier, that recently got out of jail and his sister and his sisters best friend picked him up. A romance blossomed between X-man and his sisters best friend. They managed to be really happy and had a couple kids. Some extra information, just in case someone else has read it and knows the name of the book or the author, was that X-man's girlfriend, his sisters best friend, her father didn't approve of her being with X-man so her father told X-man that he would give him around $5,000, I can't remember the exact amount, if he left. X-man took the money and left, only to return a few minutes later saying that the father never said he had to leave forever.
