There was once a Fox and a Raven.
They didn't know each other but every day they would walk to the same spot every single day where the sun was high in the sky.
They lived in the same forest and passed by each other and would talk for awhile.
One day though as winter was approaching, the Fox came to his usual spot where the sun was high and looking for berries.
The Raven flew down on a tree and looked at the Fox. "What are you doing Fox?" Raven asked the Fox. "Looking for berries to eat." The Fox replied. "Why are you here?" He asked the Raven.
"Oh, I don't know actually. It's just routine of me to be here everday." The Raven said.
He flew down next to the Fox. "You're never going to find berries that are edible here." The Raven said.
"How do you know that?" The Fox asked. "I just do. I can show you." The Raven said. The Fox sighed. "If you must." He said. The Raven flew up in the sky and the Fox followed him on the ground.
They made it to the other side of the forest, and sure enough, there were many berry bushes. "Well, thank you Raven." The Fox said to the Raven as he made it over to the berry bushes and picked some berries off of it.

You're welcome." The Raven said with a smile. As The Fox picked some of the berry's, he said, "Perhaps one day I can return the favor to you."
The Raven shook his head. "No need for that." He said. "I was just helping you. That's all."
The Fox got enough berries that he needed then nodded to the Raven. "I'll see you the next day Raven!" The Fox said as he walked off. "Perhaps you will." The Raven called back.
Indeed Raven had returned the next day and next day after that.
The Raven and Fox would spend every day together and eventually became good friends. The Fox would always think of ways to find out how to repay the Raven, but sadly, he couldn't think of any.
As the Fox had made back to his den to his family, his mate looked at him confused. "Where's the food?" She asked. The Fox sighed. "I forgot." He said honestly. The Fox's mate rolled her eyes. "Well, I'll go with you to find some." She said.
