I write stories with black female female protagonists which are set in the UK. I started writing because I thought that these types of stories were rare, I didn't see representation so I was happy to create some. Coming on Wattpad, I realised that there are so many black women who write these types of stories and it inspired me to keep going.

My stories are not just about being black. I like to write about romance, friendships and personal development. I strive for relatability - I like stories that seem real and mirror everyday life. You may not find absolutely crazy twists but you will definitely relate to a chapter or two.

I feel like 'XO' and and 'XOX' did this reasonably well. The protagonist, Alex, is just a normal teenager finding love for the first time. Those pieces are lighthearted, funny and positive and in the best way possible, normal.

As I mature, I want to touch on more complex, darker themes. 'The Host' and 'babygirl' are my avenues for this.

I love writing but I think I love writing for people more. Don't be shy to leave a comment or send me a message, I read them all (and I always message back to DMs) :)
