Oh I think I died for like a few weeks whoops

Fun fact: Aardvarks tongue’s can be up to 12 inches

Another aardvark fun fact: their name is an Afrikaans word that means “Earth Pig”

Triple aardvark fact: They mostly eat ants and termites and they can eat up to 60,000 in just one night

Not aardvark fact: the Iliad is a Greek epic poem about the Trojan War, written by Homer in the 8th century B.C (I really want to read this some day, but honestly, I struggle with Harry Potter sooooo-)

The Finale fact: Colm Wilkinson, who played the Bishop in the 2012 Les Misérables movie, played Jean Valjean from the original English language Les Misérables stage productions in 1985 and 1987

thetasteoftears2022

@RoachJuiceAlt ahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
I shall read that instead of reading Les Mis again ... I mean, why reading eight times? But I've never found any book being such a good pillow ... I mean, is the Iliad wide enough to use it as a pillow?
And who doesn't struggle with Harry Potter? The beginning of the first book was quite good, than I only skipped every Harry is talking with someone or watching someone or doing something -part. You will get rhough the books very fast if you try that. It took less than an hour!
I know, I've watched it. I like him more in his second role, I mean, he has such a calm voice, I'd sleep if he'd sing all the time. I acutally fell asleep once in the 2012 film and woke up with Jackman shouting and wondered where this whole scene had gone to ... I mean, I like Wilkinson, but during "bring him home" in the original version I couldn't keep my eyes opened. At least, I haven't fallen asleep in the 2012 version.

So I died for a bit but like- \(^^)/

Anyways fun fact: Zeus doesn’t have the most children in Greek Mythology, it’s actually Poseidon

Another fun fact: Camels have three eyelids to protect themselves from the blowing desert sand. They store fat in their hump’s which they use as a source of nourishment, not water. They’re also really cute (this is definitely a fact and not an opinion:>).

More fun fact: Cheval means horse in French. Learned this from Duolingo

Final fun fact: Amaryllis’, a type of flower, are believed to mean “pride, strength and determination.” (Interflora.co.uk). This flower (Like every other flower) has a tragic story involving romance. A nymph (or perhaps a maiden?) named Amaryllis was hopelessly in love with a shepherd named Alteo. He had, “Hercules' strength and Apollo's beauty” (inspirationforthespirit.com). Alteo loved plants and flowers, but didn’t love her. But she wanted his love, so, everyday she pierced he heart with a golden arrow and visited his cottage daily. On the 30th night, he finally opened his cottage door and saw “Amaryllis with a striking red flower that had sprung from the blood of her heart.” inspirationforthespirit.com).
          So that’s the story :D

I just wrote the most glorious story known to man y’all…here it is :)

y/n’s blond strands frame her perfectly sculpted beautifully. The golden light shining from the street lamp behind her contrasted with the otherwise dark night. The warm light illuminates her pale petite face. It casts a glow around her silhouette, it shines upon her head like a halo.

Flickers of warm orange and gold are speckles within her big blue orbs. They resemble a vast ocean with light shining from the setting sun, glimmering across the water.

She herself is a perfect picture of a mortal Apollo. Only, she would not be Apollo as she would be Icarus. Like him, she flies too close to the sun and it becomes her downfall.

You see, y/n is actually a moth and she flutters her petite little noodle like arms like wings to the light of the street lamp, a moth attracted to light. Like Icarus did to the sun. But the lamp was actually a trap set by a mean bear who wanted to turn her into honey and put her on and omelette. So like the lamp thing burst into flames and y/n burnt and died like Icarus did when he flew to the sun.

But, unlike Icarus, y/n was rescued by one direction and they became her brothers but like she insest-ed with all of them. but then like Edgar Allen Poe came in and he was like “nooooo that’s not cool beans.”

but y/n used her beautiful golden hair locks to lock him in prison but since he’s 24601 he got released after 19 years so like he went to get revenge but y/n was like “nuh-uh” and ate him.

          The end

@ediescanonhusband I mean, considering what I just published, this is fairly sane (⌒▽⌒)

Fun fact: You may know that the first man on the moon was good ol’ Neil Armstrong, but did you know that the first man in space was Yuri Gagarin?
On April 12th, 1961, according to thoughtco.com, Yuri Gagarin became the first person to both go to space and to orbit the earth. He may not have gone to space again after this, but this was considered one of the most significant events of the space race.

Not fun fact: Another fact about space travel and stuff, albeit not a cool nor positive one in my opinion. A stray dog named Laika was the first living being to be sent to space.
She was one of multiples strays taken into the Soviet spaceflight program. Laika was “launched into Earth orbit, on board the Soviet artificial satellite Sputnik 2, on November 3, 1957. It was always understood that Laika would not survive the mission,” (Britannica.com).
It was said that after 6-7 days, as a way of euthanasia, dare say mercy killing, she was fed poisoned food before her oxygen supply could run out. Unfortunately, her real fate was worse than what was claimed. In 2002, “Russian scientist Dimitri Malashenkov revealed that the previous accounts of her death were false.” (Britannica.com). What really occurred was that she died after 5-7 hours from overheating and panic. In 2008, a small monument with a statue of her was made, not enough if you ask me.

Fun Fact: I know I’ve blabbed enough, but I have more facts to share so who cares. Mozart was 5 years old when he mastered keyboards and violins. Wait this is actually all help-

I love how this was originally supposed to be me giving a fun fact everyday and now it’s just me on occasion writing paragraphs about random topics :D

@kokushibo_39 nice :)
I just got to ep 5 of season 4 and it ends with Bird Card Scar guy (I gotta learn his name at some point) being introduced and honestly I love him already, he’s funny

can’t wait to see him interact with good ol’ Russian Rat Man Dostoyevsky (also I just recently bought one of Dostoyevsky’s books and I’m really excited to start reading it)

Oh also, do you have any opinions on Ranpoe? I don’t really ship anyone in bsd tbh, but I don’t have anything against that ship and I love their interactions soooo :3

Hiiii so I haven’t been active I’m failing 3 classes lol :33
          But anyways fun fact:
Jean Maximilien Lamarque (the man who’s funeral kinda kicked off the June Rebellion) was a “French commander during the Napoleonic Wars who later became a member of French Parliament.” (Kids Encyclopedia Facts). He was a leading Critic of the Monarchy of Louis-Philippe, he argued that it failed to support human rights and political liberty.
These views made him pretty popular which is why his death was a catalyst for the June Rebellion (when the Parisian Republicans tried to overthrow Louis-Philippe in 1832, failed, and got Les Misérables written about it). Yayayay.

Another fun fact: Pigeons may have been the first domesticated birds. They’re so cutie patootie :D

anotherrrr fun fact before my phone is taken again: Apollo was apparently the god of A LOT of stuff. He was the god of archery, music and dance, truth and prophecy, healing and diseases, the Sun and light, poetry, beauty, and order. There might actually be more he’s so extra but he’s my favorite Greek god so far soooo(^∇^)

And yeah yayayay I’ll be active again in a few decades :pp
