Thanks for swinging by. You might recognize me as the guy who drank all the coffee. (Odds are I did. I had to.) I teach, film critique (Script Magazine), but best of all, I'm father to Miss Madelyn and fiance to Ms. Dani.
I figured for the new year I'd try some new formats for reading others' work and sharing my own. I dig reading anything done with passion and innovation in any genre, but for my own work, I tend toward adventure/fantasy.
My first illustrated novel, REDEMPTOR FUTURE SHAMAN, follows the struggles of a cheerful, creative, young daughter and her frazzled yet devoted single-father as they attempt to escape the haunted prison-city of Tetrapolis on the Planet Fait--available now (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple, wherever books are sold). I've reworked that book here, having included brand new illustrations for each chapter.
So, the exclusive-to-Wattpad edition I've retitled REDEMPTOR SECRET ORIGIN. The art I do for the love of it, I hope it can get a smile, and let me say, it's waaaaay easier to show and present art for here than for ebook or print formats! I'm having a blast. It's like something for Disney/Pixar, but if Tim Burton were directing! (He's one of my favorites, along with George Lucas, David Lynch, and Alejandro Jodorowsky.)
Now that I've finished the new, re-illustrated edition of SECRET ORIGIN, I'm working on the long-developed ongoing series called REDEMPTOR ADVENTURES. While the first "volume" is novel-length, and available here, these new installments will be shorter--like issues of a comic book. First up is THE HEROES' JOURNEY, which contains a brief recap of the first book, and then the new adventure sets off and flying! I'll be publishing new chapters each week.
Please feel free to leave comments on my work--I'm always down for feedback and predictions like Maddie gives me of what will happen next. Peace!

Have an interest in history? Encyclopedias? But especially if it's based on a fantasy world that doesn't "technically" exist? Me too! Thus, "The Visitor's Guidebook to Planet Fait." Hope you enjoy. h...View all Conversations
