Thinking of also writing a Gachiakuta story, so I'll circle around it, Frieren and Cyberpunk for a while. For maybe a couple weeks, I'll try to focus on those three, and then after I'm mostly done on those I'll figure something else out
I feel like I need to announce this publicly, but I have a friend, (Pali, aka Palilious, aka Pali Rat Thrower Car Having Palilious), and she's great. I love Pali as much as the next person, she's an amazing friend, and an incredible person... But I have to air out this one fact about her, that she will make the joke before you can finish processing anything else, and that is the FUNNIEST thing about her.
One time I told her "Oh, hey, my pronouns are usually it/she" and without missing a beat she went "Are you okay, Lynnie? Are you having an allergic reaction?" and before I could very confusedly and verbally put out the thought of "???" That at the moment was going on through my mind, she asked "Why are your pronouns itchy?" And I couldn't say anything to that. Unfortunately, that was the funniest dad joke anyone had ever said to me. I laughed, and I laughed hard as shit, that was funny as fuck. Like how do I argue back to something that is just legitimately making my stomach hurt from laughing, with how unexpectedly hilarious that shit was?
Last week, we were casually indulging in conversation, when I pointed out that one time I'd told her "Dude I am so obsessed with Pokemon!" and her instantaneous response to that reveal was "Yeah, of course, you're trans." And when another of my friends went "She didn't..." I pointed out that she'd also commented "That is the most Transfem experience ever. Like, you do that and you just figure out later in life you're actually a woman" to the fact I used to play CS:GO religiously at the age of 12. And then she came up and said "That's two strikes. If you're interested in engineering, that's three, you're out." To which I kindly responded "Bitch, shut the fuck up. Why are you putting cameras in my house?"
