I am Rodolfo Valentino Vera. I'm 27 years old and Argentine, yet I have always lived in Brazil. South America, you know. I already have a Wattpad profile (Rodolfo_Vera) in which I store my writtings in Brazilizian Portuguese. Why another? Because my English story couldn't be found in the search of the other profile (yes, I tried everything).
I'm in love with RPG. I have played D&D, Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, GURPS and a LOT of homebrew systems. I love it so much that I'm creating a system myself! I'm working on it everyday and still it seems it'll take centuries to be ready.
The genres I like the most are high/dark fantasy, horror and science fiction. Here's a list of my favourite writers:
• Álvares de Azevedo
• Andrzej Sapkowski
• Antoine Saint-Exupéry
• Arthur Conan Doyle
• Bernard Cornwell
• Brandon Sanderson
• C. S. Lewis
• Edgar Allan Poe
• George R. R. Martin
• Homero
• H. P. Lovecraft
• James Dashner
• J.K. Rowling
• J. R. R. Tolkien
• Leonel Caldela
• Machado de Assis
• Mary Shelley
• Neil Gaiman
• Orson Scott Card
• Oscar Wilde
• Paulo Coelho
• Rick Riordan
• Shakespeare
• Stephen King
I speak Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and English (as you see). The music styles I hear the most are rock, classical music, pop and trance. Also animes/toons/movies openings/soundtracks. And parodies (I love parodies!). I used to be an English translator, but now I'm an English teacher. You have no idea how difficult it is to train this language in Brazil. I know very few people that can speak it and they really don't like to practice. I wished Braziian people could read more books, but as they don't, I'm writing in English until they do.
Well, as English is my third language, please: correct my every grammar error! Comment and I shall correct it right away! That's how we learn things, after all. My dream is to become a professional writer; I'm here to train to pursuit this goal. Your feedback is essential for this mighty task. That's it. Thanks!
