Hello!

I'm Roland. I'm a French non-professional writer.

I am sorry for you, but coming on this page, you take the risk to be the witness of my first tries in English writing (I have nothing to lose, and you?). So, I am going to try to be comprehensible. I count on you to be sympathetic and to accompany me with your comments.

I'm not really a beginner in English language and culture. When I was about 15, I spent some stays in London. I also spent a fortnight in Norwich, in an English family. There, I discovered the musical group Jethro Tull. I also discovered the "Whodunit" shows on East Anglia Television (thank you, Mr and Mrs Bishop!). Later on, at 19, I traveled through Ireland, cycling with a friend, from Cork to Galway. A few years later, when married, I took my family to the States, in Orlando. We visited the great theme parks as Sea World and many others. All of these were marvellous journeys!

I'm also a great fan of Ronan Parke, that I recently discovered on Youtube, in March 2013. Since that date, I follow his adventures and his shows on the Facebook fan pages. Ronan is a very smart teen. He has a brilliant career ahead!

My favorite genres : Adventure, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Humor, and some more.

Talking literature, do you know what the words become when you shut your book or switch your computer off? What do they do? Do they tell a quite different story to other readers? When several persons read the same book, do they read the same story? Do they see the same characters at the same places? Are you sure that words haven't their own life in darkness?
That's a way I like to play with words and ideas!

Welcome in my universe that I am going to develop as one goes along.

I suppose the challenge will be to use the numerous short words whose meaning changes according to the context! Many things to learn, I guess!

For training, I'll write some very short stories to begin with.

I hope you'll enjoy!
