I write dark speculative fiction and essays about artificial intelligence, broken systems, memory, love, power, and the human psyche under pressure. Some stories begin as conscious ideas; the better ones arrive as images from somewhere less polite, and then I try to turn them into something coherent. Not the friendliest guide, but usually an honest one - unless I get lazy and throw the whole thing away.
