2017 Reading Pet Peeves: Rant Now Initiated

          	Unnecessary POV's or POV change
(If a character has already gone through a moment, why change POV's and go through the same exact moment? It would be recommended if the POV change was headed in a different direction than the previous POV.
I think this happens to authors who are stuck, you know writer's block, or either the author isn't a good storyteller.)

Reading great books that take hits to my religion. (I think it's classless for the author to do that to any religion because I love LGBT, sci-fi, and dark books. I just wish I could read those kinds of books and they not be rude about my religious and spiritual preference.)

Characters that don't fit the bill. (If they are suppose to be, for example, dark, brooding, and mysterious, why are they being childish and sticking their tongue out? Or the character goes through an ordeal and is scotch free of the horrors on goes through after such a thing.)

Reading in present tense. (Ex: He is looking at a journal with his name on it. He reads the words and is astonished of how accurate it is. He gasps. Someone is documenting his life.
Yeah, may sound okay to some people, but I can't take all the 's'. Just edit that into past tense like a majority of readers prefer. )

          	Ok. Rant Now Over.
