Ronnie Ray Jenkins was raised in the coal patch of Central Pennsylvania. He is the author of five novels, and numerous short stories. Jenkins is the author of, The Flowers of Reminiscence which is highly reviewed, and has been read by tens of thousands of women around the globe. He is the creator and author of a series called The Flynn City Egg Man. These novels take place in a small town in Pennsylvania and are themed around the holidays. The Flynn City Egg Man is a mystery taking place over Easter 1969, and A Flynn City Christmas which follows in 1971. He is currently working on his next novel, and also hopes to release, A Flynn City Fourth of July in 2013. 

One of eleven children raised in the hills of Pennsylvania, much of his work encompasses the people, the places, and the landscape of the area. Jenkins says, "when a magician reaches into his black top hat, you can almost count on a rabbit being pulled from it, when you reach into my top hat of writing you never know what will appear."
